Baie Rouge and Baie Longue are situated on the very pretty peninsula of Terres Basses. A dirt road passing by the Falaise des Oiseaux (bird cliffs), Pointe Plume and Pointe des Canonniers connects the two bays. The hotel Samanna, considered the most beautiful on Saint Martin is on Baie Longue.
