VHF Distress calls on 16 Restrictions No fishing on the NW coast and around the île de Quatre. All fishing, including spearfishing, is strictly prohibited everywhere (unless you have a written permit from the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fishery, which can be obtained at customs on arrival). Buying lobsters is prohibited from 1st May to 30 September and throughout if carrying eggs. Buying turtle is prohibited from 1st March to 31 July. Public nudity is illegal in St. Vincent & The Grenadines and topless sunbathing is discouraged. Swimsuits must not be worn in towns, public streets or places of business.
