Geography
To the north, the Mount Royal rises to 260 meters, providing a magnificent view of the neighbouring islands. Very beautiful beaches, among which Charlestown Bay.
Status
The island is part of the state of St Vincent and the Grenadines, independant since 27 October 1997 and member of the Commonwealth with Kingstown on St Vincent as capital.
