From the north pass west of "Jack A Dan" a small islet and leave Sandy Island to starboard. Both marks are supposed to be lit, although this isn't always the case. The green on Jack A Dan might also be missing. If you would like to pass between Jack A Dan and the coast of Carriacou, steer near Jack A Dan as the coast of Carriacou isn't clear.
Coming from the west, the passage between Sandy Island and the coast is straightforward as long as you keep away from the coast.
Anchor in front of the town on a sandy bottom 3 to 6 meters deep.
Going ashore: On the beach. Possibly on the dock of the Silver Beach Resort (VHF 16)
