The approach is easy and marked. Steer to 320° true from the waypoint and after half a mile to 355° following the marks.
There are a number of possible anchorages:
SAGA BAY (12° 00, 09' N - 061° 44, 12' W) on Hog Island. Anchor on sand and mud 7 to 8 meters and good holding in front of a little abandonned house. The surroundings are charming and going ashore easy.
PETIT CALVIGNY (12° 00, 41' N - 061° 43, 18' W) on Grenada. Anchore on mud, 8 meters, variable holding. Watch the swinging room because of the mooring buoys. Baware of the small reef offlying the west point of the bay by about 150 m. A large villa is in the back of the bay and going ashore on the dock appears to be prohibited. There is a project to build a marina.
HOG ISLAND (12° 00, 32' N - 061° 44, 32' W) Watch the reef on the east coast of Hog Island, not very visible. Keep away from the point, leaving the very large cargo mooring buoy to port and anchor on sand and gravel. You may also anchor bermudian fashion on the southern coast of the bay. Beware, the passage between Hog Island and Grenada is not possible.
CLARKE'S COURT BAY MARINA
On buoys or dock. We found the spot welcoming. The shoal indicated 1.8 m on the chart (12° 00, 56' N - 061° 44, 18) is very difficult to spot. The marina is expanding. It is possible to anchor and visit the village of Woburn.
