  • The Yacht Club's are inexpensive and quite nice

  • Javakil on the Carenage is an excellent Cyber Café
  • Taxis, ask at the bar of the YC
  • Buses, very inexpensive, from the market in town.

Ashore

  • Saint George's is one of the most interesting towns in the Lesser Antilles.
  • Visit of the business area, recently restored, behind the Carenage
  • Visit the market and fish market
  • Fort Saint George with a superb view on the town and harbour
  • Beautiful catholic church in the heights
  • Pretty local art galleries on Young Street
  • Grande Anse is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Antilles and only a few minutes tender-ride away. Use the tender dock in front of the Coconut Beach Bar (Pink house, bar and French restaurant, closed on tuesdays) or pull your tender onto the beach. Be careful not to hinder water taxis bringing cruise ship passengers to the beach.
