Although the East cardinal buoy VQ(3)5s. on Jondell is lit, it is not advisable to attempt the approach at night.

The coast of the bay is clear. Keep to port near the reefs which are easy to spot in order to avoid the south of the bay which is more dangerous and littered with cays.

Once inside, steer back up to the north-eastern part of the bay which provides the best anchorages on sand by 2 to 3 meters, very good holding. There are a few available mooring buoys at a fee (10 USD).

Very uncomfortable by NNE swell.

This bay is often very busy and you should arrive early to find room to anchor.

Going ashore: on the beach or on a little dock in the south of the bay in case swell is strong.
