Stop: 12° 52,7 N - 061° 11,5 W

Leg from the North: 155° V - 0,6 M
The only real difficulty with the approach is Montezuma Shoal marked as an isolated danger which should be kept 300 m. away. The light isn't always reliable. From the South, don't range too near to the coast.
There are white mooring buoys which you may find quite useful in view of the poor holding of the bottom. Those nearest the coast are not appropriate for drafts 2 meters and over. Use your own line and check the chain of the buoy.
Should you prefer to anchor, choose the North of the anchorage and watch your swinging room. Keep the ferry's channel free. The channel is not used the day before legal holidays when the ferry remains ashore. Avoid the South of the bay where the bottom isn't clean.
Payment is quite simple: depending on the boat's size you pay for three nights whether at anchor or on a mooring (75 EC$ from 36 to 75 feet) Ask for a reciept.
The anchorage can be uncomfortable, particularly by swell from the North. The desalinisation plant on top of the hill to the North is quite noisy at night.
Going ashore: There's a tender dock just to the North of the ferry dock.
