Before you stop at Palm Island you must do your clearnace in one of the ports of entry of St Vincent, the nearest being Union Island. Other ports of entry are on St Vincent, Mustique, Canouan and Bequia.

Restrictions

All fishing, including spearfishing, is strictly prohibited everywhere (unless you have a written permit from the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fishery, which can be obtained at customs on arrival).

Buying lobsters is prohibited from 1st May to 30 September and throughout if carrying eggs. Buying turtle is prohibited from 1st March to 31 July.

Public nudity is illegal in St. Vincent & The Grenadines and topless sunbathing is discouraged. Swimsuits must not be worn in towns, public streets or places of business. It is illegal to wear camouflage clothing in St. Vincent & The Grenadines.
