Palm Island Mouillage de l'île
Palm Island used to be called Prune Island and was inhabited only by a few cows. During their round the world journey on which they set off after the second World War, John and Mary Caldwell decided to stay on this island and plant hundereds of palm trees. This turned the arid rock into a luxuriant paradise bordered by beautiful beaches of white sand. This private island offers a Robinson Crusoé setting for the Palm Island Resort, a magnificent 40 room hotel entirely refurbished in 1999 and managed on an all-included basis.
