No visas required.

  • Ids only for US, Canadian, and United Kingdom citizens (staying no longer than 6 months).
  • Passports for all other citizens (staying no longer than 1 month).
  • Clearance and customs are compulsary and charged. 5 EC$ per person over 12 and day with a maximum of 35 EC$ = licence for a chartered boat (60 to 140 EC$ depending on size).

Hoist the Q flag. Only the skipper is allowed on shore to clear customs and immigration. He should have the ship's papers and passports of all crew members and will make things easier for himself by having prepared three copies of the crew list.

Visitors to St. Vincent & The Grenadines must be in possession of a valid passport and a return or onward ticket. Visas are required from nationals of The Dominican Republic, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, The People's Republic of China, Iraq, Iran and Nigeria.
A Departure Tax of EC$40 (US$15) per person must be paid by all visitors who have been in the country for 24 hours or more.

No pets from North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia are allowed into St. Vincent & The Grenadines unless they have been in quarantine for six months.

Ports of Entry

Chateaubelair, Kingstown (Monday to Friday 8.00 - 12.00 and 13.00 - 18.00, Saturday 8.00 - 11.00) and Wallilabou (16.00 - 18.00). Other ports of entry are on Bequia, Union Island, Canouan and Mustique.

Restrictions

All kind of fishing is prohibited in the protected areas: île de Quatre, Moustique, Palm Island, PSV, Mayreau and Tobago Cays, the NW coast of Bequia and the E de coast of Canouan.

All fishing, including spearfishing, is strictly prohibited everywhere (unless you have a written permit from the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fishery, which can be obtained at customs on arrival).

Buying lobsters is prohibited from 1st May to 30 September and throughout if carrying eggs. Buying turtle is prohibited from 1st March to 31 July.

Public nudity is illegal in St. Vincent & The Grenadines and topless sunbathing is discouraged. Swimsuits must not be worn in towns, public streets or places of business. It is illegal to wear camouflage clothing in St. Vincent & The Grenadines.
