Coming from the North: Very easy access. Check out the two large radio aerials (128 m. red lights at night) and steer towards Chateau Belair village. The anchorage in not well sheltered, but holding is good in front of the village. Alternatively, anchor on 7 m. at the foot of the cliffs to the East.

Do not dock on the town quay!

From the South: either steer round Chateau Belair Island (keep away from its northern point) or take the passage between the island and the coast: quite impressive but easy: steer between the small passage rock and the mainland, minimum depth 10 m.

It is possible to anchor in front of the Rose Bank beach by calm weather and for daytime. Petit Bordel anchorage is very deep (20 m. and more) and requires a land line. Use only by very calm weather.

Going ashore: on the beach
