Photo Sailpilot 2009Port of entry: It is possible to do the clearance in one of the buildings between the beach and the hotel. Opening hours are flexible, but always between 4 and 6 p.m.

Services: It is possible to fill up water tanks (with a long hose) from the Hotel, to leave your garbage there and to buy ice. There are also free toilets and showers. Wifi Internet access for a fee at the hotel.

Bars and restaurants:

  • Wallilabou Anchorage Hotel & Restaurant (Happy hours from 5 to 6 p.m.) Tél (784) 458 7270; VHF 16/68
  • The Golden Spoon 100 yards inland; monitors VHF 68.

Communication: Ask at the hotel for a taxi (or just walk up to the road and hail one).

Scuba: Snorkeling at the entrance of the bay.

Ashore: Waterfalls (15 mins walk) or Trinity Falls by taxi.

Local welcome has much improved these last years. Boat-boys are respectful and useful to carry a warp to land. We recommend Franklin. The bay is picturesque and the customs office provides a more accessible clearance than in Kingston.
