Hoist the Q flag. Only the skipper is allowed on shore to clear customs and immigration. He should have the ship's papers and passports of all crew members and will make things easier for himself by having prepared three copies of the crew list. No pets allowed unless they have been in quarantine for six months. VHF Distress calls on 16 Restrictions All fishing, including spearfishing, is strictly prohibited everywhere (unless you have a written permit from the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fishery, which can be obtained at customs on arrival). Buying lobsters is prohibited from 1st May to 30 September and throughout if carrying eggs. Buying turtle is prohibited from 1st March to 31 July. Public nudity is illegal in St. Vincent & The Grenadines and topless sunbathing is discouraged. Swimsuits must not be worn in towns, public streets or places of business.
